An unusually shaped gourd, this Swag Lamp was tied while growing. Decorated with birds and softly colored florals, it is pierced so the light shines through at night. Comes with a 9' silver chain for hanging.

Lampshades fit on standard size 8", 10" and 12" harps, so they may be used with your existing lamps. All lamps are given decorative heat vents on the top. Swag lamps may be ordered with electrical cords and chains up to 18 feet in length, and most shades can be modified into swags. We recommend using (maximum) 40 watt bulbs; the newer energy-efficient ones are perfect. No two pieces are identical, although themes may be repeated.

"So how much are these lamps, and are they available?"
Prices are based on different features, such as: with or without fringe, with or without cabachons, lampshade or swag, and how much carving/pattern drilling we do. Roughly, I would say lampshades run between $175 and $300; swags add an additional $40 to $50 (for materials and additional shipping). Sorry, these particular lampshades have been sold. They have been so popular that I'm kept busy with custom orders, but I do have some new ideas in mind which I hope to try out soon. Please write to me for more information on something just for you...

My first tropical shade was designed for a competition featuring the endangered Puerto Rican Cotorra, and it won an honorable mention. People loved it, and I've been requested to do some more.
